Though the faces of our Elgin Veterinary Hospital team may change, every team member has the same huge heart and desire to make you and your pet’s experience top notch. You are all truly family to us and we want to always provide you with the most perfect experience possible. Everyone that is part of our team gives their all to this job and it is not really a job to them. They are here and giving everything they can because they have so much love and dedication to each of our family members. We all want nothing more than to see all members of our EVH family live the happiest and healthiest lives ever. We pledge to always give you our all, to treat you like family, and provide the absolute best customer service and patient care possible. We all love you guys!
Ashleigh has worked in multiple positions within veterinary medicine over the years and she is constantly trying to improve her knowledge and skill set. She has completed a Veterinary Assistant course offered through Midlands Technical College and continued to attend veterinary continuing education courses. One of the things she says that she loves about working at Elgin Veterinary Hospital is that not only does she get to do what she loves every day, but that it offers her an opportunity to continue to learn and better herself. She knows that continuing to grow within veterinary medicine is the only way she will be able to continue to be able to offer the best care possible for the patients that we see. Outside of work she enjoys photography, video games and spending time with her two Shih Tzus Biscuit and Gravy!
Hillary has done it all having worked in the veterinary field for over a decade! She is the glue that holds us together as our Practice Manager. However, as with all of our staff members, she is cross trained so she may be greeting you at the front desk, training newer members of the team in different areas or assisting the doctor in surgery – you just never know! She is always great about jumping in to help where needed to make sure that you and your pet have a great experience. Ending up in the veterinary field has always been a given to her due to her love of animals, desire to keep expanding her knowledge and growing as a person. She has worked with all types of animals and loves that at Elgin Veterinary Hospital she gets to work with animals she would not normally come across at other hospitals. She also loves that veterinary medicine and surgery is always changing and that keeps her on her toes! She also really values working in Elgin, SC because she feels that she has more of an impact in the community with this being a smaller town and us striving to make sure everyone who walks through our door always feels at home! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, loving on her furry kids at home, and working on her car!
Courtney has also worked in all the positions possible during her years in veterinary medicine, but she especially enjoys her role as a technician – both in appointments and in surgery. She got into this profession because she truly loves being able to help pets every day, but has a special interest in preventative care. For her, being able to catch diseases and other medical issues as early as possible through educating owners about being proactive is one of her greatest joys. She knows that this allows pets to live longer, healthier, and happier lives and who doesn’t want that! At Elgin Veterinary Hospital she is able to talk to the members of the Elgin Veterinary Hospital Family and form lasting relationships that will allow her to educate people on important health recommendations throughout their pet’s lives. She also enjoys the challenges of veterinary medicine that allow her to constantly grow through different learning experiences and managing different responsibilities. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends (which of course means lots of adventures with her rambunctious pack) and drawing.
Molly is another one of those employees who you will see tackling different roles depending on where she is most needed! She’s been in the industry for a decade and is such a good team player that she enjoys being able to help our amazing Elgin Veterinary Hospital Family members in any and every area possible. She loves the fact that she gets to work in an environment that fosters strong relationships between the EVH team and all of our clients and their pets. She feels like she is better able to meet and exceed expectations since she has these personal relationships. In her time outside of work she is primarily a “baseball mom” to her son Logan, but is also a giant Gamecock fan and a mom to her Bichon Frise named Taz.
